Don't do business with this lady. She's a thief and a lier. I went in almost a year ago today to change my membership to single. For some reason I assumed I paid $65 a month for the 2 of us. My boyfriend never went with me and I decided it was a waist of money to pay when he doesn't go. The young man working at the gym was very nice and put in the order for the Owner to change the membership to a single membership. Everything is always auto drafted & I do check it periodically. I did notice that there was $54 Coming out of my account. I thought it was high and asked a friend who knows this lady. I told her I wanted to cancel, & really wasnt happy with the gym because its mostly outdated machines and the price is to high for what it is. Now I didn't tell her what I was paying only that I wasnt happy. She convinced me to stay and Wendy (owner) charges more because it is a small town gym and can't afford to bring down prices. I thought about it and said fine, I don't mind supporting a local business instead of a franchise. Well I decided to go ahead and cancel after she called me about my card not going through because my bank had gone to the chipped and I hadn't meet with her before now to give her my new info. When I went up there I found out I had been over paying $25. a month for a year. Wendy never took care of the membership change. She had the audacity to tell me its all my fault that I never caught it & that she will only give me 2 months of free gym membership. NO she owes me pretty much 11 months to be exact. I told her the misunderstanding in my part and I was willing to except 6 months and she could keep the remainder of the months she owes me. I felt I was being more than fair since It was HER JOB as a business owner to make sure her customers are taken care of. Not say " oh well, sorry about your luck. You should have caught it". Wow!!!! Good way to run a business there!! So people if you had or have an account with her, you may want to rethink it & plus make sure you are paying the correct price because it will be the CONSUMERS fault not the incompetent owner who doesnt do her job, then blames it on other People. Nice!!!
