I had a horrible experience with this guy. We bought a used truck that he assured us was running great. Obviously we weren't expecting a vehicle in perfect condition since it was an older used model, but he said that his mechanic checks the cars over for all the basics and makes sure that there won't be any major failures that we'd have to deal with. Two days after we drove it off the lot, it won't start. The battery terminals were beyond corroded. (Yes, I realize this is something that we should have checked before we left with it, but it seems like if they are even doing the bare minimum inspections, this would be something they'd address.) Fast forward two months, and these are the repairs we've had to have done: -new PCM ($650 + labor!) -new belts -new belt tensioner -new power steering pump -new fuel pump These repairs have costed us several thousands of dollars. This guy completely took advantage of us. There was even a payment issue early on in the transaction in which he treated me with complete disrespect (talked over me on the phone to the point that I think he may have put me on mute and kept saying how he didn't get 5 stars on yelp by being a crook) and then later tried to convince my husband to override me and the price he promised me, like my husband was the one in charge. Don't go to this guy. Maybe (and that's a big maybe) the engine stuff could be written off as a mistake, but the way he treated us was completely uncalled for. Don't believe me?
