Hands down, one of my favorite restaurants in Oklahoma City.
I've been told by friends who have traveled to Japan that the food is authentic, but I have no idea. All I know is that it is delicious.
The restaurant is in a little house, and has several areas/rooms to sit in, including a private tatami mat room that can be rented out for parties. They also have a sushi bar where you can watch the sushi chefs making rolls.
Their menu has a TON of sushi options, including some very unique ones. In addition, you can get Japanese curry here, which is a dish that I can highly recommend. It is a piece of katsu with rice and a rich gravy poured over the top. It is warm, comforting, and better than spaghetti and meatballs for meeting your comfort food needs.
The staff is extremely friendly and welcoming, and I love going here if I am having a bad day. They are always so sweet!
The parking lot is pretty small, and kind of awkward, but I've always been able to find a spot.
