Jim Shaw and Associates

Jim Shaw goes above and beyond for his clients. I have personally witnessed him bailing them out of very difficult situations. Here are the top 3 reasons I would hire him: 1) He has a great track record 2) He offers payment plans that are a win-win for him and the client. 3) His fees are reasonable. Depending on the circumstances, misdemeanors and felonies start at $500 and $1,000 per count, respectively. He's the real deal. Hire him.

Awful experience! Paid an arm and a leg for no representation in court and we ended up resolving without his assistance working directly with the court. He makes you pay 100% in advance so be careful... we ended up paying him for absolutely NOTHING! This guy is every lawyer cliche and does not care what happens to his clients! If he did, he would not have ignored multiple phone calls after not showing up for a court date. And would have been eager to assist with any repercussions from his mistake. Sooo lucky we are not the suing type. I have never wanted to take someone to court more than this lawyer! Totally incompetent and has no ethical standards. Hire anyone else! You'll end up representing yourself anyways. If you do take a chance with him, I would make sure to show up to court to ensure he is doing the job you are paying him to do.
