I just stopped in to pick up lunch. They are a small place with a big presence. This is an old fashioned hole-in-the-wall burger joint in the best sense of the word. The burgers and sides are not cheap, but very reasonably priced at $7.50 for a plain burger and $9.00 with bacon and cheddar. The menu is simple, but has options. This is the best kind of menu, because I think it means that they are good at what they do and they know that you might want to change a thing or two. The service was quick and super friendly. The mashed potatoes did need a pinch of salt, but are much better after. I am not a big fan of the Mac and cheese, but that’s really a texture thing. The burger was absolutely fantastic. Cooked nicely and still very juicy. I will definitely be back for the daily specials and burgers. I want to try the meatloaf and the Indian taco. Yum.
The place looks like a burger shack, but it has all the perks of a great local stop. The beef is from a local ranch, they have a vegan black bean burger, and they have some good local beers on tap and on special. We get the fried pickles every time, and they are always fresh and very crispy. They also do a mixture of onion rings and fries as a side so you don't have to choose. The service has been fast and friendly every time we have went. A quick favorite.
