Brenda Musgrave, Property manager at Crown Pointe apartments at 12600 N MacArthur Blvd, Oklahoma City, Ok wrongfully filed for eviction on 03/23/2018. She has has a personal problem with me because I’m in property management as well and have been for over 8 years. In March she gave me a 30 day notice to vacate/ Termination of residency because my lease was ending on 04/30/2018 and she did not like the fact that I told her to stop calling my job asking about my rent payment and to call my personal cell. She left rude messages with my coworkers and harassed me after I told her I would be late. I advised her that there was a freeze on my account and I would not be able to pay on the 15th (the day I always paid because of the days my pay period fall on) She then told me after she filed on me, I would need both months and I told her that was fine. I went into the office and gave her $1841.00, the total for both months including legal fees. After I received the notice to vacate from her, I emailed her and told her I will be moving out before my lease ends and I will be making an arrangement to pay off my balance, She still filed on 03/23/2018, after giving me a 30 day notice. From my understanding, if you give someone a 30 day notice to vacate, you cannot take legal action until after the 30 days. I turned in my keys before April 30 and sent her an email stating so. So now I have additional fees because she filed before giving me enough time. She is unprofessional and lies to get results. She even gave me a fake court date in February. She called me on Presidents’ day (courts were closed) and told me my court date was the 27th, when in fact it turned out to be the 28th. Had I took off work to attend the hearing, there would’ve been a problem. She needs to be held responsible for filing an eviction when my lease ended in the same month and I told her she would have my keys. FRAUD! NOT FOLLOWING FHA GUIDELINES. DO NOT RENT FROM HERE UNTIL THERE'S A NEW MANAGER.
