1832 Steakhouse

If you eat here, prepare to wait half the night for mediocre food. We arrived at 8:15 and had drinks ordered immediately. Nearly an hour later the waiter arrived with drinks and took orders for our meals. We didn’t get our food until after 10pm. For the high price of the food, it tasted pretty bad. The veggies were SUPER salty and the meat was okay, but not great. When I pay high dollar for a meal, I kind of expect it to taste fantastic. It took another good hour to flag down a waiter to get our check. We weren’t able to leave until about 11:15. Never again!

We had a horrible experience! They were out of two entrees (sea bass and trout). The oysters they served me were old and fishy and prepared poorly. The baked potato they served with my husband's steak was old. The mashed potatoes they offered as a replacement were served cold. The salmon was bland and the risotto was salty. Such a horrible meal. We'll never eat there again.
